About Amethyst

Amethyst is the violet variety of quartz, coloured by trace iron and natural irradiation. It has been valued since antiquity — the Greeks carried it as a stone of sobriety and self-command, and it remains one of the most widely used crystals for settling an overactive mind.

The piece

A pendant of natural Amethyst, polished and mounted so it can be worn on a chain or cord at the throat or over the heart. Supplied as the pendant; chains and cords are sold separately unless stated. Each stone is cut from natural material, so the shape, veining and depth of colour will differ slightly from piece to piece.

How to use it

Wear it on a chain or cord long enough that the stone rests where you want to work — at the throat for communication, over the heart for emotional intentions, or at the solar plexus for confidence and drive. Crystal-healing practice holds that a pendant works best against the skin rather than over clothing. Take it off before bathing.

Cleansing & care
